Saving energy in your home in winter?

Yes we'll we do live in Florida, so winter comes but maybe two or three days, if we're lucky! So for the most part it's hot and sunny, which is great, but not if its making your home hotter, and running up your electric bill. So my friend Todd, who sells life insurance, usually cheaper than most companies out there, needed his home protected. I showed him a few samples but his mind was already made up, he wanted it nice and dark and wanted the whole house done. Sunteks syds 15 was the perfect choice, Read more [...]

I was getting texts from a friend at the dealership, when can you tint my car!

My friend Tami, who is Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork had sold her car and was picking up this beautiful new Lincoln, she was texting me from the dealership wanting to know when her car could get done. We went over the different choices of films that I offer, and what she has had on pervious cars and came up with the right combination of heat block, and privacy. When Tami's done giving therapeutic massages all day she needs to relax herself, and the drive home should be alot Read more [...]

Making a blissful residence

Today I was installing film on my friend Fran's home, she's the market manager at PNC Mortgage, she's the one to call if you need a mortgage or refi. She has a beautiful home with a very open entry way, and an office that was extremely hot, heating the rest of the home. So when I stopped by to give her and her husband an estimate we went over many samples and settled on Suntek syds 15 for its 79% block of the heat from entering the home. The pictures don't do justice today as it was a little cloudy Read more [...]

BNI day!

Today was full of BNI goodness, a meeting in the morning and then tinted two of my referral partners cars after that. BNI is a group I joined where Members meet every week to discuss business and support each other's business by sharing referrals in an effort for everyone to grow. I installed Suntek CXP 35 film on the front two doors of my friend Liz's Hyundai, for a 53% heat block. She has been getting blasted by the sun since she purchased her new car. I had fixed all the old purple, bad film that Read more [...]

New car needs tint, you know who to call

I installed film on this customers car months ago, and he recently got a different car that was in desperate need of tinted glass. So he got in touch with me and also asked about getting his friends truck done. I was able to do both on the same day and pass along a little savings as he was a repeat customer and I was able to do both cars at the same time. That eclipse back window was very difficult, curved in multiple ways, it took alot of shrinking to get the film to take shape, but the end result Read more [...]

Another busy day

I have been super busy, I haven't had time to sit down and write about anything lately. So I'm taking a minute to write about one of last week's jobs. This customer contacted me about getting his house tinted, he's had his previous homes tinted before and already knows the benefits of tinted glass. I had given him an estimate for the whole home, he wanted some rooms darker than the others because of the heat that they were enduring. So I showed him multiple samples and went over pricing with him Read more [...]

Little miata big problems

I was referred to this customer by a previous customer and friend. Her miata was hot, and not in a good way. The customer was finding it difficult to cool the car off, clear glass and a convertible top, I can imagine. So I spoke to her about the differences in the films and she decided on my CXP Suntek line which keeps out 53 and 56% of the heat, quite a bit better than no protection at all. Her husband was able to bring the car to his work and I met him up in the early morning to take care of them. Read more [...]

Hot car looking cooler

This beautiful 1970 Chevelle SS was in need of some privacy and heat protection as well as protecting the interior. I had done his sons challenger a while back and now he had gotten this beautiful car. So I was contacted by the son and got in touch with his father with a time and date I could get to him. Now I had seen pictures ahead of time but the car looks great in person, love the color especially out in the sun, wow! The car looks great now, nice and dark, with a 56% heat reduction, with some Read more [...]

Dump truck driver protection

This dump truck driver was getting blasted by the sun, and all its heat and skin damaging UV. So we were contracted to Tint the two doors, we used Suntek 35% so that we stayed within the Florida standards, so there is no problems with D.O.T., dump trucks and other construction vehicles are on the roads almost all day, they benefit from window film as much as everyone else. Before After Before After, with addition of finger Read more [...]

Out with the old in with the new

A few days ago, I met this customer while I was doing another job and he was interested in getting his old film removed and new darker film put on, his pickup truck, it's a work truck so the film had taken some abuse over the years, After looking at his vehicle the front two doors really took most of the abuse, so to save a little money we decided to leave the film on the back half of the truck and strip and tint the front doors, and put an extra layer of film over his existing film on the rear half, Read more [...]
